The cottage has a simple white washed interior and stripped pine doors. It has a cosy relaxed atmosphere and is owned by Kate an artist who has decorated it with interesting and attractive paintings.
It has a small garden leading down to the river Burn and then over to rolling country fields.
There is lots to do – beaching, sailing, walking, birdwatching, numerous stately homes to visit (Holkham is only a few minutes away), art galleries, good shopping (Burnham Market and Holt) and beautiful countryside and coast to explore with idyllic empty beaches.
North Creake itself has a lovely local pub the Jolly Farmers which serves delicious food and is within walking distance. The Creake Abbey studios are just a little bit further up the road and worth a visit with it's food market and art and craft studios and small café. |
